Grade 6 spent yesterday celebrating the National Indigenous Peoples Day by honoring and learning about Indigenous cultures through several hands-on activities, including: Going for a walk in the hills, making Bannock around a campfire, creating Métis-inspired dot art, and playing traditional Indigenous games!

Our Sr. High Horticulture class would like to sell their remaining tomato, radish, and jalapeño starter plants for $3 per pot. The plants have been partially hardened off but may need a bit more transition to be fully ready for the garden. There are also a few spider plants and small aloe vera starters. Our kindergarten students became chefs while visiting Vintage Restaurant. They learned about different kitchen equipment and made and cooked their own pizzas. Thanks to the staff for an awesome experience! 🍕😀

The Kindergarten classes were made Junior Firefighters during their recent visit to the Fire Station! They got a chance to sit in the fire trucks, test out the hose, and even walked away with complimentary hats and badges! Thank you, Drumheller Fire and Rescue for all you do, and teaching our Kindergarteners all about fire safety. 🔥🚒👨🏼‍🚒
